Onvergeetlike musiekervaring met die 3 wěreldklas musikante in die seldsame
kombinasie van: dwarsfluit Liesl Stoltz, kitaar Han Jonkers, en altviool
Nicolas Corti.
Liezl Stoltz is master of her instrument showing incredible interpretation, control, colour and intonation. She began her studies at US and earned her MMus and DMus from UCT, where she also completed post-doctoral research promoting South African flute repertoire. She is the recipient of numerous awards, has performed as soloist with all South African orchestras and regularly appears is international festivals. A committed educator and recording artist, she currently lectures in flute and chamber music at UCT.
Han Jonkers, a Dutch guitarist is based in Switzerland. As a soloist he has won major international competitions and has performed as soloist and chamber musician across the world. Committed to expanding the guitar repertoire, he has commissioned numerous works and has released acclaimed recordings. He also plays a key role in music education, organizing festivals and teaching at the Pådagogische Hochschule in Basel.
Nicolas Corti, Swiss violist and founding member of the internationally celebrated Amati Quartet, studied at the Zurich Conservatory and furthered his training in New York with Emanuel Vardi. As a chamber musician, he appeared in leading concert halls world wide and recorded extensively, producing over 30 albums with the Amati Quartet.
Hierdie drie befaamde musiekante het vir n besonderse musiekaand gesorg. Reeds met die aanvangswerk "Fifth Grande Serenade Concertante" van Diabelli, kon die gehoor aanvoel dat hulle iets buitengewoon te wagte kan wees. DIe soet klanke van die fluit en perfekte balans met die kitaar en altviool het beindruk!
"Kleine Suite" van Alfred Uhl met meer eietydse klanke, was meesterlik en kleurvol uitgebeeld deur die 3 musikante. Die eerste deel "Resignation" , het 'n ietwat donker en diep emosie geskets, terwyl die baie kort "Humoreske" weer vrolik en lig was. Die dinamiese verskille en kontraste in hierdie werk as geheel verdien vermelding!
In
die “Confiděncias and Carioca” van Nazareth was die Argentynse walsritmes en
melodieё meesleurend en het die dialoog tussen die fluit en altviool absoluut
verstom! Dis byna onwerklik om sulke
volronde klanke en breё omvang uit ‘n fluit te toor, met die polsende
Argentynse rimes in volmaakte sinkronisasie met al drie instrumente. Die
kitaarkas is ook soms ingespan as ‘n trom, met groot sukses!
Die
“Amelitango” van Astor Piazzolla was,
alhoewel vervleg van ingewikkelde ritmes, vreemde klanke en tegnieke op die
fluit steeds uiters toeganglik met pragtige melodieё.
Hierdie
Trio het ‘n welverdiende staande ovasie uitgelok!
